Our Lovely Finalists
Two weeks into this process, and I'd like to offer congratulations to our amazing finalists, and congratulations to all of you who were nominees. Just because you weren't one of the five finalists doesn't mean that you didn't have numerous votes. I was sad to narrow it down to just five--six, in one instance due to a three-way tie. We had about double the voting of last year, and about double the nominees. I hope you've been able to discover some new reads in the process.Finalists are welcome to post the banner:

That said, let me encourage you before voting to go and look at all of our finalists, and get to know them better.
Also, let me re-iterate that the competition rules are that each person may vote only once. Finalists, please remind your readers of this rule. Yes, I am aware that you could go to other computers and vote a second time, and there's no way to enforce the rule. I'll just leave it with a strong encouragement to follow the rules and honor the spirit of the competition to Share the Love.

Dear Heather...the "Most Thought Provoking" list for the actual voting does not match your list of the semi-finalists here.
Also..thank you for putting on such a wonderful contest.
Section 10 on the voting is a copy of section 9 and doesn't match up either. I can't vote for Zeus!
What happened to Zeus on the ballot?
I just wanted to forewarn others, in case they share a computer with others. We didn't think about it at the time, but my daughter and I share a computer and with each of us voting on the same computer, we may have cancelled out our votes!
